Welcome to
Spokane Lawn Bowling Club
We are a group of women and men lawn bowlers who play on a manicured green located in East Mission Park in Spokane, Washington. Members maintain the green, but the public is
welcome to join us.
We bowl from late spring through October,
Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30,
and occasional other days.
Find us behind Witter Aquatic Center, on East Mission Avenue, across from Avista's headquarters (see contact & map page). Enter the swimming pool's parking lot; go to the right, far corner (SW). Note the arm gate closure. If we are there, the gate arm will be open. If it is closed, walk back and have a look at our fenced-in green beside our historic clubhouse.
We offered June and July (2023) "how-to" lessons through
Spokane Parks and Recreation's Activity Guide.
See the "2023 Season & Lessons" page for a direct link.
If you missed these lessons, contact us or come by.
Give lawn bowling a try.
Note for Women
Women and men can be equally good at this sport!
We never know the winner until the last roll by the last bowler.
Note for all potential bowlers
You need to be able to roll a 3+ pound, grapefruit-sized bowl up to 120 feet. We step up and down (12") from the green over an 8" wide ditch.
Come join us.
